Plant Sit + Tincture Making

Plant Sit + Tincture Making

Plants have long been our quiet teachers.

July 11 - Time TBD

Spirit Bird Sanctuary - Near Bragg Creek

For generations, people learned from plants not only through study, but through relationship — by sitting with them, observing them, and listening to the subtle ways they communicate through the land.

This day at Spirit Bird Sanctuary invites participants into that slower way of learning. Through the practice of a plant sit, you will spend intentional time with a single plant in quiet observation, allowing space for insight, reflection, and a deeper sense of connection with the natural world.

Alongside this experience, participants will learn the traditional process of preparing herbal tinctures — a way of respectfully preserving and working with the medicinal qualities of plants.

The day is held in a spirit of curiosity and humility toward the plant world, inviting us to slow down and remember the wisdom that becomes available when we truly take the time to listen.

Spirit Bird gatherings are intentionally kept small to preserve the intimacy and relational integrity of each container. Because of this, spaces are limited and early registration is encouraged.
