Plant Sit + Tincture Making
Plant Sit + Tincture Making
July 11 - 9:00am - 6:00pm
Spirit Bird Sanctuary - Near Bragg Creek
What happens when we move beyond learning about plants and begin relating with them?
We invite you to join us at Spirit Bird Sanctuary for a day of guided plant connection, ethical harvesting, tea ceremony, medicine making, and shared inquiry.
Many of us encounter plants as remedies, ingredients, or subjects of study. Rarely do we have the opportunity to slow down long enough to meet them directly—to observe, listen, and discover what emerges through relationship itself
Together, we will spend the day on the land exploring a different way of knowing. Through guided practices, hands-on medicine making, and meaningful conversation, we will engage with plants not simply as resources, but as living beings with whom we are in relationship.
Throughout the day, you will learn practical approaches to ethical harvesting and herbal medicine making while deepening your connection with the plants, the land, and yourself.
The day will include:
• Guided plant connection practice
• Tea ceremony
• Ethical harvesting instruction
• Herbal medicine making
• Shared nourishment
• Group reflection and inquiry
Whether you are completely new to this work or already walking a plant path, this offering provides an opportunity to deepen your relationship with the natural world through both experience and practice.
Spirit Bird gatherings are intentionally kept small to preserve the intimacy and relational integrity of each container. Because of this, spaces are limited and early registration is encouraged.
